Compare Mode

Upon further revisions of a document being uploaded, the different revisions are grouped under the single document number.

When viewing the latest document revision, you will have the option to compare any of the previous revisions against the latest revision.

Against each previous revision is a count of the number of comments that remain open against that revision.

This functionality allows the tracking of changes between revisions to help ensure that comments against the previous revision have been addressed before closing them.

If you click to view a previous revision directly, the viewer will open in compare mode, with the previous revision on the left and the current (latest) revision on the right.

To maximise the current revision, use the button next to the current revision document number.

Comment Styles

When in compare mode, the comments for the previous revision are coloured pale yellow, to distinguish them from those made against the current revision coloured light blue, and they contain an additional information (i) icon, which when hovered over, displays the document number and revision to which the comment applies.

Using the eye button will take you directly to the document against which the comment applies.
