Document Reviews

EMT's Documents module provides a robust, fully auditable, digital review workflow for you project documents.

As well as reviewing documents individually, multiple documents can be grouped into packs and reviewed collectively, this is particularly handy for example, if you have a set of drawings that you wish to be reviewed together.

Reviews consist of 5 key stages:

  1. Unassigned
Documents arrive in the Unassigned stage where they are then allocated Review Times, Author(s), and Review Coordinator(s) and Reviewers.
  2. Under Review
During this initial review stage any Review Coordinators (RC) and Reviewers can leave comments against the document.
  3. Awaiting Response
Upon the initial review stage being completed, the document is passed to the Author(s), to allow them to review and respond to any comments raised. Once all comments have been responded to, the response will be marked as complete
  4. Follow up Review
Following the responses being provided by the Author's, during the Follow up Review stage, the Review Coordinator and Reviewers can consider the responses provided and either, close the comments or enter into thread commenting to request further input from an Author.
  5. Completed
Once the review is complete and all comments have been closed, the document can be moved into the Completed stage by the Review Coordinator.

On completion of a document review, a formatted comment sheet can be configured as a standardised output to assist with project delivery and audit history.
