Commenting & Collaboration

Adding a Comment

1. Ensure you have watched the Navigation Tutorial in ATLAS to understand the various ways to open and load a Point Cloud.
2. Navigate the Point Cloud to the desired area or location.
3. One the right-hand side, select the “Comments”.

4. A pop up bar will appear on the bottom right, please select the "plus" icon.

5. Once selected, please click the desired position within the point cloud.
6. Another pop up window will appear with a free text field.
7. Select "Show Details" to add further information such as code or status.
8. Please enter the desired comment and select "Create".
9. Please untick the "plus" icon to navigate the point cloud again.
10. Repeat Steps 4-9 to continue to add comments within the point cloud.
11. To view all comments within the point cloud in list view, select the up arrow within the comment bar on the bottom right (next to the plus icon).

Responding to a comment

1. Ensure you have watched the Navigation Tutorial in ATLAS to understand the various ways to open and load a Point Cloud.

2. Navigate the Point Cloud to the desired area or location.

3. One the right-hand side, select the “Comments”.

   
   

4. A pop up bar will appear on the bottom right, please select the up arrow.

5. Click the comment to automatically navigate to the location and view the comment details.

6. A free text field is available to add reply comments, select create once completed.

7. if the comment is resolved, please select the outstanding icon at the top of the comment thread.
