Uploading a Document for AI Processing

You can upload up to 50 documents via the EMT Document Management User Interface (UI). This can be found under the 'Options' menu in the main header bar, selecting the 'Import Documents' option.

  1. Select 'Upload Documents' button in the top right corner.
  2. Drag and drop document(s) into the pop-up or click to open file browser and select your files from your PC.
  3. Select 'Upload' and wait for the documents to process.
  4. Provide the mandatory document attributes (Document Name, Document Number, Document Revision).
  5. Select the checkbox 'Enable Document AI Extraction' at the bottom of the page.
  6. Select 'Import Documents' at the bottom of the page.
  7. Each document will now upload. The progress of each document can be found in the right hand column in the table. The status can be updated by selecting the refresh button in the column header. The Status will go from "In Queue" to "In Progress" to "Done".
  8. Once all documents are "Done", you can exit the Import page and return to your documents view.

The uploaded files are now in the system in the 'Unassigned' Stage. You can now run the AI model on these documents, as well as issuing the document to 'Reviewers' to review and amend the AI detections.
