Smartgrid Editing
Updating Asset Records Directly via the Smartgrid
To update data via the smartgrid for existing assets:

Navigate to the desired asset class, either by selecting the class directly from the asset tree, or selecting the class within the table view.

Once the class table is open, create or activate an existing changeset.

Edit the data within the table.
Any changes made within a changeset are work in progress and not visible to the wider project until the changeset is published. -
Upon updating an asset record, the asset will display with a pencil edit icon, for other users a lock icon will be shown, indicating that the asset is under edit by another user.
Clicking either the magnifier, pencil or lock icon will open a change history panel with the changeset details shown. -
After making an edit you will see a message appear above the table, notifying you that changes have been saved.

Once you have completed your data updates and are ready to share your changes to the wider project, you will need to publish your changeset.
