Closing an NCR

Status: Responded

Role: NCR Coordinator

Once the Responders have submitted their responses, the NCR Coordinator is responsible for reviewing the outcome and closing the NCR.

Available actions
• Escalate
• Close Comment
• Update Forecast Date

Important: An NCR cannot be closed while any associated actions remain open. All outstanding NCR Actions must be closed before the RFI can be closed.

Closing an RFI

  1. Open the NCR and review the submitted response.

  2. Select Close Comment to open the closure window.

  3. Select the appropriate Acceptance Status from the dropdown menu.

  4. Indicate whether an As-Built is required.
Note: Select Yes if an As-Built is required. This must be selected for an As-Built to be created.

  5. Enter the reason for closing the NCR in the free-text field provided.

  6. Review the information entered and confirm the closure.

Once the RFI has been closed, NCR Coordinators have the ability to re-open NCRs if required. This pushes the NCR back to a status of Submitted.
