Asset Data Export
Exporting your asset data
To export asset data for a contract/project the Generic Asset Data Export can be used.

-
Select the Integrations option from the top menu bar
-
Select Generic Asset Data Export
-
Within the dialog box select the asset classes for which you want to export data
-
Select which configuration structure columns you want to include (Tag Code, System, Sub Systsem, Functional Group, Sub Functional Group)
-
Select whether you wish to include pending assets - pending assets are those that have been created by a user and are sitting within an unpublished changeset
-
Optional - You can also restrict the data being exported to assets that have been modified since the specified date, but specifying a date within the 'Updated Since' field
-
Optional - If your assets hold attributes that contain file attachments, you can choose to include these too.
-
Click on Submit to run the export.
You will then be taken to the Exports log page which shows all the exports that you have run.
Depending on the amount of data being exported the export may take a little while, refresh this page after a few minutes.
When your export has completed, you will have the option to download the Excel file (xlsx), of the results.

The export will include all assets for the selected classes, but only contain attributes for which data is present within the system.
For more specific data exports we recommend using our Power BI connector which will allow you to create your own custom reports for your asset data. (Microsoft Power BI Connector)
